Community contribution enhances public services in Paphos

A Cypriot entrepreneur of Chinese heritage has donated 14 cleaning handcarts to the Paphos municipality, supporting ongoing efforts to maintain high standards of cleanliness across the city.

The handcarts, valued at approximately €1,800 each, were specially ordered from China and formally presented during a small ceremony held at the town hall square. The equipment is expected to enhance the daily operations of municipal cleaning crews, particularly in busy urban areas and public spaces.

The donor expressed satisfaction at being able to contribute to the community, reaffirming his commitment to supporting the city’s development and the effective operation of municipal services. Municipal representatives welcomed the initiative, noting that such contributions strengthen services for both residents and visitors while reinforcing a shared sense of civic responsibility.
