New university hub planned in Limassol
A major development project for the Cyprus University of Technology (TEPAK) is moving forward with a planned investment of approximately €104 million at the site of the former Limassol Hospital and First Technical School. The project will create a new university development area covering around 57,500 square metres, designed to support education, research, student accommodation and modern campus needs.
The plans include new facilities for health sciences and management studies, a learning centre, student accommodation, recreation areas and additional services. The historic buildings of the First Technical School will be preserved and transformed into educational and cultural spaces, while a new health centre is also planned to support training, research and community needs.
The development is expected to strengthen higher education infrastructure in Limassol, improve student facilities and create a more modern university environment. The next stage will focus on architectural planning, while the project will complement ongoing work on new student residences and wider campus improvements.
