New residential photovoltaic scheme to be announced by April
The government is expected to announce a new plan for installing residential photovoltaic systems by April at the latest, following the completion of the “Photovoltaics for All” programme. The new scheme aims to continue supporting households in producing their own electricity while adapting to current energy needs and challenges.
According to the energy minister, the new plan will place particular emphasis on the installation of energy storage batteries alongside photovoltaic systems. This is intended to improve energy efficiency and reduce pressure on the electricity grid. Details will be provided on the total budget of the scheme, the level of subsidies available and the eligibility criteria for applicants.
The government will also clarify how the scheme will operate if the allocated budget is fully used, outlining any alternative measures or future plans. The aim is to ensure continued support for households interested in renewable energy and to promote a more sustainable energy model.
