A new future for one of Larnaca's historic buildings

A landmark restoration project is set to give one of Larnaca’s historic buildings a new purpose, transforming the former hospital into a modern municipal centre. The redevelopment includes the restoration of the listed buildings, along with the creation of a welcoming public square featuring landscaped gardens, green spaces, water features and comfortable seating areas. Construction is expected to begin later this year, with completion planned for 2028. Once finished, the project will combine Larnaca’s rich heritage with modern facilities, creating a space that celebrates the city's history while supporting its future growth and everyday community life.
