Kapparis is located between Protaras and Paralimni in the Famagusta district. The area has grown to be a well-liked spot for locals and travelers who want to be close to the sea and tourist attractions but yet be able to unwind in a calm location. The area is famous for its clean, sandy beaches, which are especially excellent for families with young children. It also boasts a large number of restaurants and bars which stay open all year round.
The three main beaches are Kapparis (Fireman’s) Beach, Malama Beach and Agia Triada Beach. Each one is picturesque with its own beauty, with shallow, clear waters and soft sand. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for hire on each beach with a selection of food and drink facilities nearby. In addition, it is home to the only "Dog Friendly" beach in the region, where you are allowed to swim with your dog and are guaranteed to run into other pet-friendly people.
The majority of the properties in Kapparis are villas and apartments rather than the enormous buildings that you typically see in the larger resorts because it is mostly a residential area. Property buyers can also utilize the high profit of returns by renting the property out to holidaymakers. Most of the area’s bars and eateries are located along Kennedy Avenue, Kapparis’ main street. There is everything to suit all tastes and budgets, from live music, karaoke bars to sports pubs and restaurants providing delicious food options. Supermarkets and convenience stores are also available in the area.
Many European and British people choose Kapparis for their vacation in Cyprus or the area has become their home. It is loved by individuals because it is a cozy spot on the island but still vibrant and full of life. Kappari’s rocky beach trails are just amazing to stroll and gaze out at the Ghost Town of Famagusta along this coastline. The sky is always wonderful, the colors are vibrant and the reflection of the moon in the sea is just breathtaking to watch.
