Aradippou is the largest village in population in the district of Larnaca, approximately 3 kilometers to the west of Livadia and about 6 kilometers in the northwest of the city of Larnaca. Aradippou is included in the municipalities of the province of Larnaca and is situated 50 meters above sea level. When Aradippou was even given the status of a municipality in recent years, it continued to expand quickly in a number of different industries. The population growth there has been astonishing, which makes this obvious. Currently in Aradippou there are 13,349 residents (World Population Review).
Many new homes and industrial buildings were constructed in Aradippou during the past years. In addition to other facilities, Aradippou has a gymnasium, a high school, four elementary schools, a kindergarten, and a nursery school. Modern structures are continuously lining the asphalt road of the village. Due to the dense construction, the streets in the settlement's heart are small and meandering, but the ones on its outskirts are very large. Construction results in a similar situation. Houses are relatively tiny and some are still brick-built in Aradippou’s center, but there are large and modern buildings at the settlement's outer reaches. Very few picturesque open houses still survive with their balconies projecting onto the public streets.
In this village the new constantly replaces the old. Aradippou has every amenity needed to qualify as a city, including secondary schools, a hospital, banks, movie theaters, supermarkets, sports facilities, and other recreational facilities. A significant cultural movement has also been present recently in Aradippou. There are dance studios and cultural organizations in addition to the sports clubs. Various cultural events are happening over time in Aradippou, which are arranged by organizations.
Aradippou is one of the communities that are steadily urbanizing. Because of its proximity to Larnaca and its working environment, it has developed the ability to adapt to changing socioeconomic conditions. As a result, people living in the village are able to generate substantial wages, hence, the standard of living is getting better and better.
The church of Apostolos Loukas, who is also the patron saint of Aradippou, is the largest and most imposing church in the village despite the presence of other chapels and churches. The Panagia ton Ampelion church is located to the northwest of the village (in the old days many vines were cultivated here).
From a transportation standpoint, Aradippou is connected to the main route of Nicosia - Larnaca to the west and southwest, as well as to the industrial district of Larnaca to the southwest. Additionally, it has connections with Avdellero to the north and Livadia to the east.
