Around 100 vehicles removed in Paphos industrial zone cleanup
A large-scale cleanup campaign is under way in the industrial zone of Paphos, with around 100 vehicles already removed as part of efforts to improve the area’s appearance, safety and accessibility. Municipal services are currently carrying out inspections, recording vehicles, notifying owners and removing those considered abandoned or causing obstruction within the area.
According to local authorities, the operation is progressing in an organised and coordinated manner, with additional improvement works already being planned. The wider initiative aims to create a cleaner, more functional and safer industrial zone for businesses, workers and visitors, while improving the overall image of the area.
As part of the next phase, new asphalt works have also been scheduled to upgrade road conditions and support smoother access throughout the industrial zone. Officials say the long-term goal is to develop a modern and well-maintained space that better serves the growing needs of the city and local business activity.
